Markel Risk Solutions (MRS) is an individual risk underwriting facility dedicated to finding account placement solutions for risks that may be difficult to place in the standard market. MRS works with carefully selected agency partners on a geographically preferred basis and is committed to developing quality relationships for the long term.

In an effort to offer maximum flexibility, we underwrite on an individual account basis rather than a "class" oriented approach, with account minimum premiums of $15,000 or greater. MRS is a "casualty-driven" package solution.  Our preference is to write as much of an account as our capabilities allow.
